I just read an article on what excersises equipment you should have in your home gym. Instead of buying equipment like they have at the gym shouldn’t it be based on what you like doing? For instance I like the treadmill. Used it in the gym and I use it at home. Have an elliptical. Use that too. Bought a excersise bike because I did spinning once. Have not used the stationary bike as of yet. Nor the yoga swing, Joe weider body thing.( like the one Christy Brinkley promotes) ball, medicine ball, 50lb weights or anything else that’s in a gym. I still have the stuff thinking I’m going to use it someday. Fact is I’m 57 years old, let’s ge real. I do physical work at work so when I get home I’m tired. On my days off I go for walks and sit and do some arm stuff in my swim spa. Aww. My swim spa. I loved doing laps at the gym. Then one day the pool was closed for repair. I decided to look into swim spa’s. Best investment I ever did. You can do aqua aerobics and laps with a tether line. I use the spa the most. So bottom line. Figure out what you really like to do in the gym and in your spare time. It will save you a lot of money and you’re more likely to stick with it.
